Remove skin, bones, and excess fat from the chicken
Place the chicken in a pot and cover it with water
Bring the water to a boil
Reduce to a simmer
Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink inside
Remove the chicken from the pot
Let it cool completely
Shred or chop it into small pieces
Serve plain, without salt, seasoning, garlic, onion, or oil
Store leftovers in the refrigerator and use within a few days
