Start with clean, detangled hair
Part the hair into the desired cornrow sections
Secure the unused hair with clips or ties
Take a small section at the front of one part
Divide that section into three equal strands
Cross the right strand over the middle strand
Cross the left strand over the new middle strand
Add a small amount of hair from the section to the right strand
Cross the right strand over the middle strand
Add a small amount of hair from the section to the left strand
Cross the left strand over the middle strand
Continue adding hair to each side as you braid backward
Keep the braid close to the scalp
Maintain even tension while braiding
Continue until all hair in that section is added
Finish the remaining length with a regular three-strand braid
Secure the end with a small elastic
Repeat for each section
Smooth edges and adjust the parts as needed
