Lean Body Mass = Total Body Weight – Body Fat Weight

Body Fat Weight = Total Body Weight × Body Fat Percentage

Lean Body Mass = Total Body Weight × (1 – Body Fat Percentage)

Convert body fat percentage to a decimal before calculating

Example: 150 lb × (1 – 0.20) = 120 lb lean body mass

Example: 70 kg × (1 – 0.25) = 52.5 kg lean body mass
