Wash and dry your hands
Enter a fingerstick blood glucose value from a reliable meter into the Dexcom G7 app or receiver
Open the app or receiver and go to the current glucose reading
Select the option to calibrate or enter a blood glucose value
Type in the meter reading exactly as shown
Confirm and submit the calibration
Wait for the sensor to update
Calibrate only when your glucose is stable
Calibrate if the app or receiver prompts you to do so
Do not calibrate if your glucose is changing rapidly
Use only a fresh fingerstick reading for calibration
Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions if they differ
