Call Credit One customer service using the number on the back of your card
Verify your identity with the requested account information
Request that your Credit One card be closed
Ask for written confirmation that the account has been closed
Pay off any remaining balance before or during the cancellation process
Remove any automatic payments linked to the card
Cut up or destroy the card after the account is closed
Check your credit report later to confirm the account shows as closed
