How To Change A Faucet?

Turn off the water supply valves under the sink

Open the faucet to release any remaining water pressure

Place a bucket or towel under the sink to catch drips

Disconnect the supply lines from the faucet

Remove the mounting nuts or hardware holding the faucet in place

Lift the old faucet out of the sink or countertop

Clean the sink or countertop surface around the faucet hole

Install the new faucet according to the manufacturer’s instructions

Secure the faucet with the mounting hardware

Reconnect the water supply lines

Turn the water supply back on

Check for leaks at all connections

Tighten any fittings if needed

Run the faucet to flush out air and debris

Verify that hot and cold water work properly
