How To Change A Punctured Tyre?

Park the vehicle on a flat, stable surface away from traffic

Turn on the hazard lights

Apply the parking brake

Place wheel wedges or stones behind the wheels

Remove the spare tyre, jack, and wheel wrench from the vehicle

Loosen the wheel nuts slightly before lifting the vehicle

Position the jack at the correct jacking point

Raise the vehicle until the punctured tyre is off the ground

Fully remove the loosened wheel nuts

Take off the punctured tyre

Mount the spare tyre onto the wheel hub

Hand-tighten the wheel nuts

Lower the vehicle until the tyre touches the ground

Tighten the wheel nuts in a crisscross pattern

Fully lower the vehicle and remove the jack

Tighten the wheel nuts securely

Check the spare tyre pressure if possible

Store the punctured tyre and tools back in the vehicle

Drive carefully and have the punctured tyre repaired or replaced as soon as possible
