Park in a safe location and apply the parking brake
Remove the valve cap from the flat tire
Shake the Fix-A-Flat can well
Attach the hose to the tire valve stem
Hold the can upright and inject the sealant into the tire
Disconnect the hose and reinstall the valve cap
Drive the vehicle immediately for a few miles to spread the sealant
Check tire pressure and inflate to the recommended level if needed
Have the tire inspected and repaired as soon as possible
Replace the tire if the damage is too severe
