Right-click the app’s shortcut or executable
Select Properties
Open the Shortcut tab
Click Change Icon
Choose a new icon or browse to an .ico file
Click OK
Click Apply
Unpin the app from the taskbar
Pin the updated shortcut to the taskbar again
If the icon does not change, restart Windows Explorer or sign out and sign back in
