Unplug the washing machine
Remove any laundry from the drum
Wipe the door, gasket, and detergent drawer with a damp cloth
Remove and clean the detergent drawer
Clean the rubber door seal, including folds and creases
Check and remove debris from the drain pump filter
Run a hot empty cycle with washing machine cleaner or white vinegar
Add baking soda to the drum if needed for extra cleaning
Run an extra rinse cycle to remove residue
Leave the door and detergent drawer open to dry
Wipe the exterior of the machine
Clean the machine regularly to prevent buildup
