Mix baking soda with a few drops of essential oil if desired
Sprinkle baking soda evenly over the mattress
Let it sit for several hours
Vacuum the baking soda off completely
Spot clean any stains with a mild cleaner if needed
Allow the mattress to dry fully before remaking the bed
Repeat regularly to help keep the mattress fresh
