Check the care label before washing
Turn the cashmere item inside out
Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water
Add a small amount of mild detergent made for wool or delicates
Submerge the cashmere gently
Soak for 5 to 10 minutes
Swish lightly without rubbing or twisting
Drain the soapy water
Refill the basin with clean cool water
Rinse gently until all detergent is removed
Press out excess water without wringing
Roll the item in a clean towel to absorb moisture
Reshape the garment while damp
Lay it flat on a dry towel or drying rack
Keep it away from direct heat and sunlight
Store clean cashmere folded, not hung
Use a cashmere comb or fabric shaver for pilling if needed
