Unplug the dryer or turn off the gas supply
Pull the dryer away from the wall
Remove the lint screen
Clean lint from the lint screen by hand
Vacuum the lint screen housing
Detach the dryer vent hose
Remove lint from the vent hose
Vacuum inside the dryer vent opening
Clean the dryer drum with a damp cloth
Clean the moisture sensor if present
Reattach the vent hose securely
Push the dryer back into place
Plug the dryer back in or turn the gas supply on
Run a short test cycle to check airflow
