How To Clean Suede Boots?

Brush off dry dirt and dust with a suede brush (use gentle, short strokes)

For light stains, rub the spot lightly with a clean suede eraser or pencil eraser

For water spots, lightly dampen the entire affected area with water (avoid soaking), then brush the nap in one direction while it dries

For salt stains, wipe with a slightly damp cloth, let dry completely, then brush and erase

For grease or oil marks, sprinkle cornstarch or talcum powder on the stain, leave overnight, then brush off thoroughly

For tougher stains, use a suede cleaner or suede spot cleaner according to the label directions

Let boots dry naturally at room temperature (do not use heat sources like hair dryers or radiators)

Restore the nap after cleaning by brushing in one direction and lightly using the suede brush/eraser as needed

Stuff with shoe trees or crumpled paper to help maintain shape while drying

Protect after cleaning with a suede waterproofing spray (apply in a well-ventilated area and allow to dry fully)

Avoid soaking suede, using regular leather cleaner/conditioner, and scrubbing aggressively
