Use the Roku mobile app on a phone or tablet
Connect the phone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network the Roku was previously using
Open the Roku app and sign in
Tap Devices
Select your Roku device
Use the app as a remote
Go to Settings
Select Network
Select Set up connection
Choose Wireless
Select your Wi-Fi network
Enter the Wi-Fi password
Wait for the Roku to connect
If the Roku is not on the same Wi-Fi network, use a mobile hotspot with the same network name and password as the old Wi-Fi
Connect the Roku to that hotspot
Open the Roku app
Use the app to change the Roku to the new Wi-Fi network
If available, use an Ethernet cable to connect the Roku to the router
Open the Roku app
Change the Wi-Fi settings through the Roku menu
Use a physical remote from another Roku device if compatible
Use a universal remote if it supports Roku
Use HDMI-CEC controls from the TV remote if enabled
