Turn on your AirPods 4 case (open the lid) and make sure the AirPods are in pairing mode
On the laptop, open Settings (Windows) or System Settings (macOS)
Windows: Go to Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth → select “AirPods 4”
macOS: Go to System Settings → Bluetooth → select “AirPods 4” when it appears
If prompted, click Connect / Pair
Confirm the audio output is set to AirPods 4
Windows: Settings → System → Sound → Output → select “AirPods 4”
macOS: System Settings → Sound → Output → select “AirPods 4”
If the laptop doesn’t show AirPods 4, put the AirPods back into pairing mode and try again
If previously paired devices interfere, remove “AirPods 4” from Bluetooth settings on the laptop, then pair again
