Remove chorizo from packaging
Slice, crumble, or leave whole depending on the recipe
Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add chorizo to the skillet
Cook, stirring and breaking it up if crumbled
Cook until browned and fully cooked through
Drain excess fat if needed
Serve hot or use in your recipe
If cooking links or whole sausages, turn occasionally until cooked through
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F / 71°C for pork chorizo
Let rest briefly before serving
