Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add the sausage patties to the skillet
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on the first side
Flip the patties
Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes on the second side
Continue cooking until the patties are browned and reach 160°F internally
Remove the patties from the skillet
Drain on paper towels if desired
Serve hot
