Preheat the oven to 300°F
Pat the country ribs dry
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
Place the ribs in a baking dish or roasting pan
Add a small amount of water, broth, or barbecue sauce to the pan
Cover tightly with foil
Bake for 2 to 2.5 hours, until tender
Remove the foil
Brush with barbecue sauce if desired
Increase oven temperature to 425°F
Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes to brown the ribs
Let the ribs rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving
