Leave the corn in its husk or wrap each ear in a damp paper towel
Place the corn on a microwave-safe plate
Microwave 1 ear for 3 to 5 minutes on high
Microwave 2 ears for 5 to 7 minutes on high
Microwave 3 to 4 ears for 7 to 10 minutes on high
Let the corn rest for 1 to 2 minutes after microwaving
Carefully remove the husk or paper towel
Cut off the stem end if needed
Hold the hot corn with tongs or a towel
Season with butter, salt, or other toppings if desired
