Peel the kohlrabi
Trim off the stems and leaves
Cut into slices, cubes, or sticks
Steam until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes
Boil until fork-tender, about 10 to 15 minutes
Roast with oil, salt, and pepper at 400°F until browned, about 20 to 25 minutes
Sauté in butter or oil until softened, about 8 to 12 minutes
Mash after boiling or steaming
Add raw to salads or slaws
Stuff and bake halved kohlrabi
Use in soups, stews, or stir-fries
Season with salt, pepper, garlic, herbs, or lemon juice
