Mark the cut line with a fine-tip marker or grease pencil
Secure the sheet on a flat, stable surface
Wear safety glasses and gloves
Use a straightedge or ruler as a guide
Score the line repeatedly with an acrylic cutter or utility knife
Apply firm, even pressure on each pass
Deepen the score until it is clearly visible
Place the scored line at the edge of the work surface
Snap the sheet downward along the score line
Use a fine-tooth saw for thicker sheets
Cut slowly to reduce chipping and cracking
Support both sides of the sheet while cutting
Use masking tape along the cut line if needed
Sand or file the cut edge to smooth it
Remove protective film only after cutting if possible
