Wash and fully dry your hair
Comb your hair straight down in the direction you’ll wear it
Part out the section for curtain bangs from the center outward
Clip the rest of your hair away
Lightly dampen the bangs if your hair is hard to cut dry
Hold the bangs straight out from your face at the length you want as your starting point
Start with small trims using sharp scissors
Cut across with a slight angle so the center stays longer than the sides
Create face-framing layers by cutting the outer sections slightly shorter than the center
Use point-cutting (snip upward with the tips of scissors) to soften the ends
Blend into the surrounding hair by trimming the edges where bangs meet side hair
Release the clips and comb through to check symmetry
Re-cut any uneven sections with tiny adjustments
If you want more fullness, take thinner sections and repeat small trims
If you want less bulk, thin with point-cutting or a light scissor-over-comb technique
Style with a blow-dryer and a round brush to set the bend and curtain shape
Let it dry fully, then do final micro-trims only if needed
