How to Delete Documents and Data on iPhone?

Tap Browse

Find the document or folder

Press and hold the item

Tap Delete

Open the app that contains the document

Select the document

Tap Delete or Move to Trash

Open Notes

Open the note

Tap More

Tap Delete Note

Open Photos

Select the photo or video

Tap Trash

Confirm Delete

Open Messages

Open the conversation

Press and hold the message

Tap More

Tap Trash

Open Mail

Open the email

Tap Trash

Open Safari

Tap Bookmarks

Tap History

Clear browsing data

Open Settings

Tap General

Tap iPhone Storage

Select the app

Tap Delete App

Open Settings

Tap Privacy & Security

Tap Location Services

Turn off access for apps you do not want storing location data

Open Settings

Tap Safari

Tap Clear History and Website Data

Open Settings

Tap General

Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone

Tap Erase All Content and Settings

Open iCloud.com or Settings

Remove synced files, photos, notes, and backups from iCloud if needed

Empty the Recently Deleted folder in Files, Photos, and Notes

Delete app data by uninstalling the app and reinstalling it if needed
