Gather materials: stucco mix, water, mixing bucket, hawk, trowel, float, bonding agent, lath, fasteners, tape, and protective gear
Prepare the surface: clean it, remove loose material, and repair damage
Install weather-resistant barrier if needed
Attach metal lath or approved base over the surface
Apply a scratch coat of stucco
Score the scratch coat horizontally
Let the scratch coat cure
Apply the brown coat and level it
Let the brown coat cure
Apply the finish coat
Texture or smooth the finish coat as desired
Keep stucco damp during curing if required
Inspect for cracks, gaps, and uneven areas
Seal or paint only after full curing if needed
