How to Make Mud Bricks?

Gather clay-rich soil, sand, water, and straw or grass fibers

Remove rocks, roots, and debris from the soil

Mix soil with sand in a suitable ratio

Add water gradually until the mixture becomes thick and moldable

Add chopped straw or fibers and mix evenly

Knead or stomp the mixture until fully combined

Prepare brick molds by wetting or lightly oiling them

Pack the mixture firmly into the molds

Level the tops and remove excess material

Lift the molds carefully away from the formed bricks

Leave the bricks to dry in a shaded, ventilated area

Turn the bricks periodically so they dry evenly

Let the bricks dry completely before use

Stack and store the dried bricks in a dry place
