Open YouTube in a web browser on your PC
Start playing a video
Click the mini player icon on the video player controls
If the mini player icon is not visible, click the settings or more options in the player controls
Use Picture-in-Picture mode in your browser if YouTube mini player is unavailable
In Chrome, right-click the video twice and select Picture in Picture
In Edge, right-click the video twice and select Picture in Picture
In Firefox, right-click the video and select Picture-in-Picture
Drag the mini player window to any corner of your screen
Resize the mini player window if needed
Keep browsing YouTube while the mini player stays on top
