Draw a small circle in the center for the nucleus
Add a few smaller circles inside the nucleus for protons and neutrons
Draw one or more larger circular or oval paths around the nucleus for electron shells
Place small dots on the paths to represent electrons
Space the electrons evenly around each shell
Keep the nucleus centered and the shells balanced
Use different colors if desired to distinguish protons, neutrons, and electrons
