Turn off the Dyson V8 and remove it from the charger
Hold the vacuum over a trash bin
Press the red bin release button on the side of the dust bin
Let the bin door swing open and empty the debris
Close the bin door firmly until it clicks
If needed, pull the clear bin off the machine and empty it separately
Reattach the bin securely to the vacuum
Check that the bin is fully closed before using the vacuum again
