Open Finder
Click Downloads in the sidebar
If Downloads is not visible, click Go in the menu bar
Select Downloads
Use Spotlight Search and type Downloads
Open the Downloads folder from search results
Check the Dock if the Downloads stack is there
Click the Downloads stack to view recent files
