Wash feet daily with soap and water
Dry feet completely, especially between the toes
Change socks at least once a day, or more if sweaty
Wear clean, moisture-wicking socks
Rotate shoes and let them air out between uses
Use foot powder or antifungal powder
Use antibacterial soap if needed
Wear breathable shoes made of leather or mesh
Avoid wearing the same shoes every day
Replace old insoles or use odor-absorbing insoles
Soak feet in vinegar or Epsom salt solution
Trim toenails regularly
Treat athlete’s foot or other fungal infections
Use antiperspirant on feet
Keep feet and shoes dry
Avoid going barefoot in shared damp areas
See a doctor if odor persists or there is redness, itching, or pain
