Avoid walking barefoot in public showers, locker rooms, or pools
Wear shower sandals in communal wet areas
Trim toenails and keep feet clean
Disinfect shoes and socks regularly
Avoid tight shoes and synthetic socks
Continue treatment for the full recommended time
