Blow your nose gently

Step outside for fresh air
Avoid strong odors, smoke, and perfumes

Take a warm shower and inhale steam
Check for nasal congestion, allergies, or sinus infection
Use an over-the-counter decongestant or antihistamine if appropriate
Stop smoking or vaping
See a doctor if the smell lasts more than a few days or comes with pain, fever, or discharge
