For salt stains, mix equal parts white vinegar and water, then dab lightly
For oil stains, sprinkle cornstarch or talcum powder on the spot and let it sit overnight
Brush off the powder after it absorbs the oil
Repeat cleaning only as needed
Stuff the boots with paper towels to help them keep shape while drying
Air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight
Brush the suede again once dry to restore texture
Apply a suede protector after cleaning and drying
