Soak the corn in cold water for 15 to 30 minutes
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Pull back the husks slightly if needed, remove the silk, then pull the husks back over the corn
Drain the corn well
Place the corn in the husk directly on the grill
Close the lid and grill for 15 to 20 minutes
Turn the corn every 5 minutes
Check for tender kernels and lightly charred husks
Remove from the grill using tongs
Let cool for a few minutes
Peel back the husks and serve
