Open the grill lid
Make sure the propane tank valve is fully closed before connecting
Connect the propane tank securely to the grill
Open the propane tank valve slowly
Turn the grill control knob to the ignite or high position
Press the igniter button if your grill has one
If the burner does not light, turn the knob off and wait a few minutes
Try lighting again
If there is no igniter, use the grill’s built-in match-light port or a long match according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Once lit, adjust the burner to the desired heat setting
Close the lid after the burner is lit and the grill is preheating
