Press Shift + Command + 3 to capture the entire screen
Press Shift + Command + 4 to capture a selected area
Press Shift + Command + 5 to open screenshot options
Choose the screenshot location if prompted
Open the app where you want to insert the screenshot
Click where you want the screenshot to appear
Press Command + V to paste the screenshot if it was copied to the clipboard
Drag the screenshot file into the document if needed
