How to Install Windows on MacBook?

Check whether your MacBook has an Intel processor or Apple silicon

Back up your MacBook with Time Machine or another backup method

Make sure you have enough free storage space

Download a Windows ISO from Microsoft

For Intel MacBook:

Open Boot Camp Assistant

Follow the on-screen steps to create a Windows partition

Select the Windows ISO

Set the partition size

Install Windows

Restart and complete the Windows setup

Install Boot Camp drivers in Windows

For Apple silicon MacBook:

Install Windows using a virtual machine app such as Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or UTM

Create a new virtual machine

Select the Windows ISO or Windows ARM image

Allocate CPU, memory, and storage

Start the virtual machine

Complete the Windows setup

Install guest tools or integration tools if prompted

Update Windows after installation

Install any required drivers or software updates

Set macOS or Windows as the default startup system if using Boot Camp

Keep regular backups of both systems
