Measure the area and calculate how much artificial grass you need
Remove existing turf, weeds, stones, and debris
Dig out the ground to the required depth
Install edging around the perimeter
Add a sub-base of crushed stone or aggregate
Compact the sub-base thoroughly
Add a layer of sharp sand or leveling material if needed
Rake and level the surface
Lay weed membrane over the prepared base
Roll out the artificial grass and let it settle
Cut the grass to fit the area
Join seams with joining tape and adhesive if needed
Secure the grass with nails, staples, or adhesive around the edges
Brush the grass fibers upright with a stiff broom
Add infill if required
Check for wrinkles, gaps, and loose edges
Trim any excess material
Water lightly and brush again to finish
