Gather baking soda and water
Put 2 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl
Add a small amount of water
Mix until a thick paste forms
Add more baking soda if too runny
Add more water if too dry
Stir until smooth and spreadable
Use immediately or store in a sealed container
