Open the FaceTime app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
Make sure FaceTime is turned on in Settings
Tap or click the New FaceTime button
Enter the person’s phone number, email address, or name
Select the contact from the suggestions if needed
Choose Audio or Video
Tap or click the call button to start the FaceTime call
Answer the call when the other person picks up
