Choose a stamp design
Draw or print the design in reverse
Select a stamp material such as rubber, foam, or linoleum
Transfer the design onto the material
Cut or carve away the non-design areas
Attach the carved piece to a block or handle
Apply ink to the stamp
Press the stamp onto paper or another surface
Clean the stamp after use
