Choose a simple stuffed animal shape
Gather fabric, thread, needle or sewing machine, stuffing, scissors, and pins
Make a paper pattern for the body parts
Cut out matching fabric pieces
Pin the pieces together with the right sides facing in
Sew around the edges, leaving a small opening
Turn the fabric right side out
Stuff the animal evenly
Close the opening by hand sewing
Add eyes, nose, mouth, or other details
Trim any loose threads
