Open a crafting table
Place 1 honeycomb in the middle slot
Place 1 string directly above it
Take the candle from the result slot
To dye a candle, combine 1 candle with 1 dye in the crafting grid
To light a candle, use flint and steel or a fire charge
To place multiple candles on one block, add more candles of the same color to the block
