Wash the zucchini
Trim off the ends
Slice, dice, or cut into desired shape
Heat a pan over medium heat
Add oil or butter
Add the zucchini to the pan
Season with salt and pepper
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender
Remove from heat and serve
