Crack the egg into a bowl
Hold the yolk in one half of the shell and let the white drip into the bowl
Pass the yolk back and forth between the two shell halves until the white is separated
Use your hands to gently lift the yolk while letting the white slip through your fingers
Use an empty plastic bottle to suction the yolk and release it into a separate bowl
Use an egg separator tool over a bowl and let the white drain through
Keep the yolk intact while separating to avoid breaking it
