How To Make Chow Mein?

Boil chow mein noodles until just tender

Drain and rinse with cold water

Toss noodles with a little oil to prevent sticking

Heat oil in a wok or large pan

Add sliced garlic and ginger

Add sliced onions, cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers

Stir-fry vegetables until crisp-tender

Add cooked chicken, shrimp, beef, tofu, or leave plain

Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a little sesame oil

Add salt, pepper, and optional chili sauce

Add noodles to the pan

Toss everything together until well mixed and heated through

Garnish with chopped green onions

Serve hot
