1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 to 4 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Beat the peanut butter and butter together until smooth and creamy
Add the vanilla extract and salt
Gradually mix in the powdered sugar
Add milk or cream a little at a time until the icing reaches the desired consistency
Beat until light and fluffy
Spread or pipe onto cooled cakes, cupcakes, or cookies
