How To Make Saffron Rice?

Rinse 1 cup of rice until the water runs clear

Soak a pinch of saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm water or warm milk for 10 minutes

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter or oil in a pot

Add the rinsed rice and stir for 1 minute

Add 2 cups of water or broth

Add the saffron liquid and saffron threads

Add salt to taste

Bring to a boil

Reduce heat to low and cover the pot

Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until the liquid is absorbed

Turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes

Fluff the rice with a fork before serving
