Melt 1/2 cup unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat
Add 1/2 cup hot sauce
Stir in 1 to 2 teaspoons white vinegar
Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper if you want more heat
Add a pinch of salt
Whisk until smooth
Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes
Toss with cooked wings immediately
